As the main contractor’s design management team, SFMM works closely with Foster + Partners, the designer and supervisor of the project.
To facilitate the delivery of this complex structure, SFMM is actively involved in developing and approving value engineering solutions. These include structural design optimizations, transitioning beam claddings from lost formwork to cladding systems, and developing alternative materials and detailed designs. The aim is to minimize delivery time and costs while preserving the design intent.
The project is being executed in BIM, with all coordination conducted through BIM models. Documentation, including shop and fabrication drawings, is generated directly from these models, ensuring accuracy and integration across the project's lifecycle.
All construction-related LEED credits are rigorously followed, with requirements embedded into material approval procedures to ensure full compliance and the attainment of all applicable construction credit points.
